I have the JBL system and I'm really disappointed in it. Even cranked all the way up it's not very loud. I can talk right over the music to a passenger. I drive an 09 Chevy Express for work and the shitty no name factory radio with just 2 door speakers is like twice as loud as my JBL system

FYI- go into setting and turn the Speed sensitive volume off. Makes a big difference.

I'm sure it's subjective, but the JBL sounds fine in mine. I rarely go over "30" on the volume, and that's with the A/C blasting (noisy). I do keep my bluetooth volume maxed out, though.

I find the JBL's volume to be absolutely terrible. For a premium system it barely sounds better than a normal system, then it is definitely not as loud as a stock system. I've put aftermarket stereos in 2 previous vehicles and could easily get better sound quality and power (volume) for $500 all together.

Have you played with settings, speed sensitivity setting (off) Plus most don't know with JBL you have to adjust Bass/Treble/Mids with each source XM,CD,FM your settings one don't transfer to other.

I've previously played with all the settings. I will double check though to make sure everything is still where it should be.
