i recently bought the ome 881 and bilstein 5100 and they came with the adjustment on the very top line. My question is why do my shocks only have 3 adjustment lines when all of the graphs I’ve seen are 4 lines? I bought the shocks specific to my truck on bilsteinlifts.com I want a 2.5” lift in the front, how can I achieve it with this combo?

You may have gotten an older version. I know some models like 2nd/3rd gens have 4, and maybe the newer 1st gens have 4, but mine had 3.

THe top line, whatever it is, though, should be 2.5"...

If you can't get the proper alignment, dial it back down to 2" or buy aftermarket upper control arms!

You have the ome springs which means the bilsteins get set at 0. If you want more lift, you need a different spring...

Do you have an aftermarket bumper and or winch on the front? If not, the 881s should give you close to 2.5" on the front end without any help from the bilsteins...

I have a stock front so I’ll probably set the bilstein to 0. They came on the top pin out of the box.

Shoot, yeah forgot you have the 881s... The top ring would be 2.5" for a stock spring...

with the 881's you should be on the bottom or *maybe* the middle, but do NOT use the top clip setting with the 881's. You shouldn't ever go more than 2.5" overall lift, you run into several problems that way.

When you have 2 different things that offer a lift, in this case your 5100s and the 881, that's stacking lifts, and that's generally a bad idea, because you over extend what each lift is designed to handle, plus you over extend what the truck's suspension can handle without other mods, too (diff drop, aftermarket upper control arms).

Sweet, thank you much for taking the time to help out a noob. This helped a lot. Bottom clip with 881s it is. What will that bring me up to? 2.5 correct?

According to: the 881's should give you 1.5-1.75" lift. Depends on if you have a v6, plate bumper/winch, etc... The 882's are what would get you closer to the 2.5 you want. So you may be able to set the 881 on the middle setting, but ideally you'd get springs set for that height. When you mess with the clips on the 5100's you increase the spring pre-load (makes them stiffer).

Then I’ll just leave the 5100s at 0 for most comfort. Thank you.

What do you have going on for the rear suspension?

dakars would be 2.5" iirc, so you'd be "stinkbugging" it with only 1.5 in the front. Deavers are 1.5" lift, but they're also more pricey (way better springs, though).

Another option is an add-a-leaf. It's kind of a band-aid fix for a warn out set of springs, but it works for very little cash. Or a longer shackle.

Or there's this, which replaces the bottom 3 leaves. There are advantages/disadvantages to all of them. Deavers or custom Alcan are the best and most expensive, Dakars are good, but probably too much lift for you with the 881's, then the 3 leaf pack is good too. Cheapest would be either a single add-a-leaf or a longer shackle.

You definitely need 1" or more lift in rear if you get the 5100s in the back. They are longer than stock, and may bottom out with stock height.

I see well I was looking to replace my leaf springs completely since the once that are on are bent the opposite way now haha which one of those would be the complete lead set instead of the “add a leaf”

Yeah I'd start at 0 on the bilsteins up front and see how happy you are with where it sits before changing the settings on them. I have the same setup on my front and was surprised at how much of a lift I got after replacing my saggy ass stock springs.
