I just looked them up. I see why you went with the raw look. WOW! Are yours bolt on or weld on?

That's a little more reasonable. Honestly, I just want them for a little door ding protection. Seriously doubt I would ever need them as true skid rails. So I guess more of a want than a need. Do you think DIY bed liner would stick to it?

Yeah, I’ve seen the liner spray hold up pretty well on these if they get lighter duty...

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
I really like that antenna mount, elegantly simple. Does one have to remember to remove the antenna before raising the hood, or does it clear the windshield?

Radio mounting and fuse panel wiring all look pretty spiffy, too.

I'm new to the Tacoma life, but have been a car enthusiast and perfectionist my whole life, so here goes...

Picked up my 2019 Super White Off Road in Philly on Thursday, drove back to Charlotte Thursday night (~600 miles). Woke up Friday and got started!

I'm OCD with paint work and have detailed tons of cars at a advanced hobbyist level, it's awesome to start with a new vehicle, there's not much work that needs done and you can get the paint to nearly 100%.

Full decontamination wash, stripped, iron remover, clay bar.
Hood, roof, fenders buffed and polished. Rest of truck polished. Used M105 to buff/cut, and Sonax Perfect Finish for polish.
Topped with two coats of CQuartz UK 3.0 ceramic coating, two coats of Reload on top of that. Windshield coated with Glassparency.

Now time for the mods, it's a lease, but wanted to personalize it a bit and make driving it more fun (I have some other cars so this helps to balance out the mileage)
Spidertrax 1.5" Spacers (wanted to make my truck look a little better than stock with compromising anything for a daily driver)
    Morimoto HID kit (6k)
    Tundra LED Fog Lights
    Viofo A119 V3 Dash Cam
Kicker Speakers (6x9's in the front doors, 6.5's in the rear doors, Kicker Subaru Tweeters in the dash)
    MESO Customs Map/Dome Light
LED Bulbs throughout (vanity lights, reverse bulbs, license plate bolts)
    Vehicle OCD Center Console Organizer
    ProClip Cell Phone Mount

All that is left is to tint the front windows to match the rest of the truck. Long weekend of work but happy it's all done and I get to enjoy it now.

I was too tired to move the rest of the cars out of the driveway to get the Tacoma out in the sun to take a pic. Truck has been in the garage since Friday morning.

I'll post pics later tonight if I get home from work fast enough to get some shots in the sun.

Hey Rob, dumb question. The anytime camera module you installed, it works on ALL the different Entune models in our trucks right? Unlike the one your truck has, I have the mid level I think, with the two knobs at the top with actual buttons not touch screen type buttons.

Just checking, most videos I've seen of this unit are from folks who all have the same Entune model as yourself.

lol Actually retired, but it’s a play on all the spouses that say “stay at home mom” like it’s a career. No issue with that being what someone does, just don’t act like it’s a career.

I also like how it tempts people to try and make fun of it like I couldn’t find a job and sit at home getting fat and drinking beer, just so I can beat my wife when she gets home.

    That's a good question actually.

According to this manufacturer they didn't stipulate any exceptions to Entune except a Fujitsu Ten models.

Note! Panasonic/Pioneer monitors are supported, FujitsuTen aren't.
