    Hey there! I just bought my first Tacoma. I have a 2015 charcoal Tacoma Prerunner SR5 with 47k on it. I got about a month ago and I love it! I use it for work, I’m a pool guy. I just recently put on a 3in leveling kit and 285/70/17 Toyos with Black TRD wheels. It lost a little pep with the big tires. I was thinking about maybe putting a tuner on it. Any other things you guys did that won’t break the bank to get a bit more horsepower out of her??

    I got it for about 26k. Low miles, and the truck is in like brand new shape. Engine so clean you can eat off of it.

    Welcome to TW. Nice truck. The best bang for your buck investment you can do is to regear to compensate for the larger tires. Stock is 3.73 gears and imo, 4.56 gears would be ideal.

    I thought about that and wouldn’t mind doing it but that could run around 1k installed roughly. I was looking to do something cheaper first to see how it goes.

    There is nothing else you can do cheaper to return it to stock like form besides regearing. Don't even consider wasting money on any bolton cold air intake crap unless you want to sound louder. Just enjoy the truck for now..
