We had rash of that at a lake near us a couple years back. Car thieves would hop in a usually running car while the owner was still trying to secure the watercraft ending with many different types being strewn along the roads nearby. Usually once out of the county many would pull over and ditch the trailer which many times ended with it rolling into traffic.

Came to a quick stop when a victim shot two of them with one dead at the scene. Survivor and victim went to prison because Illinois.

Now I'm not supporting his murder whatsoever. But I've read countless posts on this very forum by people who have implied doing very bad things to trespassers. It was private property. He was informed & aware of this. While not posing a threat per se, I can definitely recognize the land owners' frustration.

 

Trespassing laws aren’t the same in GB. If they’d have had a fence up then it would been clear cut in their favor. Fair use laws are pro pedestrian there.

I get trespassers on my property here and I just call the sheriff since I’m well posted.

Legit, had a neighbor kill two cattle rustlers and seriously injure a third for backing a trailer up to his fence and cutting the wire before they started honking like many do when they pour cubes out. Blew my damn mind.
