    I think I'm going to buy the rest of my stuff for a CB install. I already have a CB, Firestik antenna, and ground wire. Does this mean all I need are a stud mount, quick disconnect, spring, coax cable, and cigarette lighter plug? Jon, I hope you can chime in here because I remember you telling me to wire it the way you did. Is powering it through the auxiliary cigarette lighter plug the way to go?

    Ray: I had my CB hardwired to the battery, so no extra pieces were needed. However, this does add a little more engine bay clutter, it's much harder to remove, and running the wires through the firewall is a biatch. I hardwired mine because I never planned on removing it and the location was convenient. If you want something that you can easily disconnect talk to JD and get the cigarette adapter. If not, I can hardwire for you with no problems.
