Skid Plate is Stainless Steel for a 1st gen Manual Tran. Its heavy AF.

Just heard back. Shell is for a 2001 1st gen. Bummer but a good deal for someone.

What's the difference between manual and auto trans on the skid plate? Is there a difference?

Anyone need a Trasharoo upgrade? I picked up this GARB bag because I had heard bad things about the Trasharoos breaking down. Unfortunately it just won't work mounted to the tailgate without some modification. The straps are designed to be used with a spare tire and after way too much time spent trying to get them to work, I gave up. I've now taken to just dumping all my trash in the wilderness like everyone else.

Just looking to get my money back on it and put it to good use since I'm not doing a rear mount spare any time soon. I paid C$185 after shipping which at today's exchange rate works out to $139.69 so you will save $3 over what I paid for it. It's expensive, but I was trying to do that whole BOCO thing.

I think it had to do something with the radiator clearing.

Well that may not be a problem for me. I'm running a Champion that hangs down around 2 inches less than the OEM auto radiator.

 

IIRC the add said it came off a 2005 Tacoma. Bummer. Looked like a decent shell, the browning editions had locking compartment on the roof for shotguns/rifles too. Good price if a first gen is looking.
