I'd do A, if I was close to moving. I'd do B, if it's gonna be a while before I move. C & D, I wouldn't do, because eventually I'm gonna move.

 

Have you thought about the aluminum portable carports? They come in several sizes, so both of you could park cars/trucks under them. Then when you sell down the road, just take it with you.

 

Sweet. Worth the extra money for a big name snorkel or go with a Dobinsons?

 

sounds similar to my house, I have 2 empty bed rooms, 1 empty living room, and 1 unused bathroom for the most part. What's up with old places having 2 living rooms? Neither are huge, but both have a fireplace.

 

what would be your timeframes on those items? what's considered "close to moving"?

I have not simply because they're ugly and Amy would never go for it.

is Dobinsons not a big name?

@Jerneyman my Australian buddy of mine runs a Dobinsons snorkel on his Land Cruise and loves it!

 

I am not moving within 6 months, that's a fact.

 

My house had 2 living rooms b/c it was built in the 40's and then added on to. I took the wall out between the 2 and it worked out great.

Dobinsons is a direct competitor to Old Man Emu. Kinda like King vs Fox, etc.

I'd fix that shed up then. The floor, supports and joists still look good. Just needs new walls and a roof and you'll have a nice storage building. Then, like you said, you can put all the lawnmowers and junk in the building and let Amy park in that garage.

 

go ahead and do what you want to do, it can take 6 months when you guys finally are ready to move with selling & buying a new place.

 

the floor needs redone, badly. it's the biggest "how to" part of it...

yeah I can't just "do what I want to do" lol. I just wish she was willing to move in before engagement, she already stays with me a lot. it would just make things so much easier financially for me. she keeps wanting all these thing done and payed for it makes it where I can't even think about buying a ring.
