Good to know, guys. thanks for the info. I should really get new coilovers with better spring rate more inline with my other mods, but i'm a cheap / lazy bastard. Will probably throw some little spacers on there for the time being and call it a day

In the end what was the lift you got out of it? I’m looking to do the same thing possibly but want to stick close to 2inches. Thanks!

Also, so 885s would get me 1.5 lift in the front on my 2019 right?

I see a lot of people talking about bigger lifts but this chart from Headstrong Off-road shows 1.5 in.

375mm springs aren't much bigger than stock.

    CHEVERLY my service dog! Lol
I’ve been thinking this same setup for my 2014 DCLB 4x4. Will this give me about the same 2.5 “ if lift?
.. what is a good guess to pay for install?

Anyone else running 885s with 5100s on a prerunner double cab? I got almost 3in and two years later I'm still sitting there. The suspension feels good but I wonder if it'll be a little better if I had went with the 884s. I have the newer medium dakars out back and the truck looks great

Your truck looks great. No offense, but I am in & out of my truck way too often to deal with that kind of lift!

no offense taken! it's actually not too bad getting in and out. my mom is the only one who complains... but she's pushing 60. wife says it's fine, but that's probably because she doesn't want me to spend money to drop it down half an inch to what the 884s would do for me :)

I'm just curious to see if there is a difference in ride quality between 884s and the taller 885s. looking back, i should have went w/ the 884s but i didn't realize 885s were for 4x4 and the extra weight.

I have pretty much the same setup on my Prerunner with the exception of HD Dakar's in the back. Gained the same lift that you did, nice to know it didn't settle very much since I only have about 6 months on mine.

i like it! I almost went with the HD dakars... kinda wish i did for camping trips, but honestly it's fine for now.

what size tires did you go with? right now i have 265/70/17 but would like to move back up to 275. they didn't have that size in the tires i wanted. i definitely have more room to fill out the space

i don't see the point of lifting the truck an inch. or you just doing all this to upgrade the shocks? that would make sense if you don't want much additional height. curious to see how the 883s work out for you. keep us updated!

I had 5100s and 884s as my first setup. Given its 4wd but I got 1.75" out of it.
Lol. It's a Toyota lifted an inch or two. That means it's like 18" off the ground. Doesn't seem like much to overcome.

    makes sense then

You'll be happy with the suspension upgrade.

We did it for the suspension upgrade and more height for clearing fun stuff on the way to our remote camping destinations. Our trip to Idyllwild last month the extra height came in handy. Can go even higher with bigger tires but those will have to wait
