I'd take hot and humid over cold and rainy 6 days a week. And twice on one of those days.

That would be a little weird, as we're both close in age...

Sorry Rahl, and others! Freakin' adulting sucks. Work has been busier than normal the past 2 months and I had to step up my game and help out another group.

But then also I have been tending to services on my car, and tractor and hopefully soon my truck. Then there is the yard work, other chores, and tending to my Mom in the nursing home. For instance, yesterday was a 8 hour yard only day. Then to top it off, my doctor has me on some new meds to help relieve the stress here at work and to help me sleep so all those times that I was up until like 2 or 3 am on here are no longer. It was a very long day Saturday and I was in bed by 21:30. A first for me since I don't know when.

Of course there has been a lot of rewards too. I mean we are still adding water to our pool with a hose (we're on a well) and a water timer which will have to be resolved and cost a fortune to find and fix the leak but we stopped worrying so we could have some fun for a change.

This was definitely rewarding as hell.

I was pretty proud of myself considering I didn't know what I was doing and I had to replace the water pump too. 300 hr service on a 6 year old Kubota 3cy diesel. The pump just went up. $250 all said and done. Plus my time for the day.

Then there is my nephews boy coming up the house with my niece and getting to spend time with him, and her. My nephew is an owner operator of two restaurants so he barely gets to see him. We have seen him less because of our schedule and where they live. Liam is the spitting image of his father Michael when he was this age and we use to go down to Ocean City, Md. Michael would not touch the sand or get in the water. Liam will not come out of the pool! These times are freaking priceless for me and the wife. We weren't blessed with children. My Niece-in-laws sister and her husband have been popping over with them too so it's been really nice.

    This is Liam.

    20190810_134746.jpg

Then on certain days like yesterday my cousin Donna, that is like a sister to me and has been best friends with my wife since the 3rd grade comes over to get in the pool. I soooo dig this because I know Donna will come over when I start wheeling on long weekend trips and this makes me feel less guilty about that. Donna watches her daughters puppy, Myla, and brings her over. The wife and I would have a dozen dogs if we didn't work so much and were home longer during the day but as it is, we won't do that to any dog. So when I got done my chores I had to hold the pooch!

    20190811_180031.jpg

I'm teaching her to growl. LOL I walk her and play with her. She won't get in the pool yet but she looks at it all the time.

Plus I am still spreading myself thin on here. No less than 10 active threads. I got into the Pitfaced BBQ thread and that was a freakin' hoot. Found out I'm gonna need a smoker in my life to go with all the lbs of rubs I bought. Then I am a regular on the TW Express and NE Craigslist threads. Saw a set of 17" steelies (the black ones with holes) and snagged them on the cheap, and now I am just waiting for TW Express to move them to me. Before I got that going I was posting in like 4 PA threads looking for help. I already bought a new set of TPMS and will need tires for them too. They will be my winter/wheeling set to help preserve my Copper Ray 10s. Then of course I get involved with Bigdaddy's thread and that is as fast moving as my TTC thread (which I am also neglecting), My Cap City thread is also gonna kick me to the curb, and all my other 2nd gen threads, and my OG threads. LOL

    I was getting overwhelmed!

But I do honestly miss all of you. And every day I would tell myself, pop in and say hey! And every day would come and go and I would kick myself in the ass.

And I really do appreciate you asking about me!!!!!!! :fistbump:

Most days I lose count of the Tacos in my neck of the woods.

Of course there is always that special guy that just refuses to upgrade to the 21st century.

Captured this fine upstanding country boy while dropping the wife off at the hairdressers. Yes, it is also a taxidermy place hehehehe, they do a lot of beavers  .
