That is a genius idea. TW takeover!!!!!!

Just need to check to make sure I’m not violating the lease doing that because the landlords did quote the lease haha

Jokes on them though, I only work 40 hours. Bitches.

Was gonna say, How late in the evening does the noise ordinance go? Cut that shit at the latest time or the very earliest to be an ass. but I do understand you have to play somewhat nice.

Had a coworker a few years ago get a few complaints on dumb stuff. He went to one of the HOA meetings, and made his point. That said. for the next week and a half, he walked his subdivision looking for issues every where, sent them in daily. He never heard a thing again from his HOA. Still lives there too.

I would have gone absolutely ape shit. My blood is boiling reading about it! No way man. People always ask me how bad my hour commute every day is. I would drive 4 hours every day to not have to deal with fucking pricks that can't stay in their own lane. Bunch of entitled fucking boomers out there laying on their bellies cutting their grass one blade at a time because that's the only meaningful activity they can find to fill the void and coast out the rest of their wasted fucking lives.

Edit: Whoa. /rant. That was probably a little heavy handed and painetd with too wide of a brush. But you know what I'm getting at.

I just checked, quiet hours are 10pm-6:30am Mon-Sat and 10pm-8am Sat-Sun. Looks like I'll be mowing my lawn before bed from now on.

Thought the neighbors were nice, because they're all 50+ and retired, but I guess it's a double edged sword when you have people home all day and nothing to do. I can't fault my landlords, they may have been told exaggerated descriptions, etc. Their follow up response was nice and said that once a week mow is good.

I was getting so pissed while I was pulling weeds. I was like "I bet those fucking neighbors see me out here and think they won by calling the landlords."

Yep. Wish I owned the house so I could start with the fuck you games. But at the end of the day, the landlords and neighbors were right and it was a bit unkempt, in violation of the lease in some eyes.

I'd take weekly picture measurements of the grass after mowing and have the pic blown up on the yard. All that b/c I'm petty and your neighbors suck.

Mow at 0630 on Monday morning. Since you gotta go to work, you will only be able to get a little bit done. That is ok, remember the Tortoise and the Hare parable. Do a little bit before you go to bed at 10pm, then a little bit at 0630 the next day. Do that Monday through Saturday and if need to touch up the lawn on Sunday, you have to wait until 0800. But I am sure your diligence will be rewarded with a healthy and neat lawn.

I'm at work before that, but I do like that idea. Maybe mow a stripe or two one night, do a lil edging the next

It is truly a never ending battle and one must do the best he can. I hear that mowers are more efficent and cut better if the muffler is removed. Something about back pressure slowing the blades or something, I don't know.

Most importantly, make sure all your lawn equipment is straight piped. Googling Stihl Dump Valve now.....

I will probably put the fart can of an exhaust back on my truck. Keep it in first gear at 3k rpm as I crawl down the street at 5mph so I don't hit any children.

Alright venting helped a lot, thanks guys. Really I won't do any of these things (except maybe the truck exhaust) because I don't know which 3 neighbors suck, and I don't want to make them all suffer because of it. Just gonna take the high road here.

0800 on Sunday we are out there to help you with your lawn care needs. Backpack blowers, 2 stroke string trimmers, chainsaws, edgers, etc, etc. All going full bore for hours until every scrap of stray grass is completely annihilated.

Anyone have a 2 stroke blender for margaritas?

Venting with help is always fun! does the "grass law" in the HOA say how low the grass can be? Cut that shit to the dirt. haha.

Good luck on the dumb stuff, man.

Well that's the thing, I don't even think there's an HOA here, so we weren't in violation of that. We were in "violation" of our lease which is what gave the landlords the authority to tell us to cut that shit or hire someone that can. Except their guy charges $40 per mow. Fuck. That.

Either way I'm over it and am scoping out more places to camp. Anyone been to lake Anna?

    Rite rite. I'm with yea.

Not to run you off ..

Lake Anna State park fills up quick in the camping area. the cottages vary. Been awhile since I've been up there though. The beach area is a mofo with people every weekend during the summer, and anyone with a boat in 30 miles has it in the water there. Off season... Never looked into it.

Dang, sounds a bit too populated for my liking. Switzer lake was more my style with less than 10 other people on the water there. Off season could be fun, just do more hiking rather than water activities.
