Just as well; a sledge is a great way to ruin a wheel if you miss the tire.

dont hit the wheel..... hit the tire sidewall.. but its MUCH easier to loosen the lugs 1-3 turns, and go for a short slow drove doing some sharp turns.. it will come off... when i was in a shop we used a copper spray...

stuff works great, and WAY faster than using paste, and a brush...

not specifically this stuff.. but similar.. https://www.amazon.com/Nitro-Lubric...i+sieze+spray&qid=1565643260&s=gateway&sr=8-1

next tire/brake service.. everything would come apart SOOO easy.. and we could tell they had all their services with us.. you can also do what "south main auto repair" on youtube does.. he uses Fluid Film ( I tend to think you'll contaminate your brake pads, but I guess it works for him..)... I prefer the copper spray, but in a pinch ill use the paste...

now that I think about it, I believe is waseither a permatex, or CRC product.. because we did carry CRC/permatex stuff from the nearby NAPA..

That's good info, I'll have to look into that stuff. I've always just used the graphite paste but it doesn't seem to last. I rotate my tires regularly and put the paste on the mating surface of the wheel and never had one seize to the hub thankfully. I had to beat the ever living shit out of my rotors to get them off though (F150, so not threaded like the Tacoma's).

This advice about the copper spray is great, but unfortunately doesn't help you for the first brake change. Too bad the factory didn't do this to help those of us who work on our own vehicles...

mine died in the second to last snowstorm last year... apparently they need oil.... lol.. rod went through the block just below the gas tank... I LOVE that snowblower... its a tracked hydrostatic drive.. its heavy, but it'll power through ANYTHING... and I mean 8ft snowbanks....... it'll just climb, and chew away.. back up, and go again... makes short work of my 140 ft long driveway, and large parking area.. I'd love a new 32" one.. but the 28 is good enough for me..

Gonna need to see a few pics of this if possible, and the mower on fire wouldn't hurt either!

Got my new shipping container today, will power wash later this week and paint either Friday or early next week to match the other one. Guy towed it in with a F-250 on a gooseneck, says he gets 260 miles a tank w/ the powerstroke and it their f-350 is like half that and always runs out, even if the 350 handles the weight better, he takes the f-250 around. Better turning radius too.

Good thing you didn't order the throttle body gasket, as I have ordered one twice, and both times the new gasket was too small to replace the original gasket (and thankfully it is reusable, since it is like an o-ring). Also, when your replace the t-stat, put a thin coat of RTV on both sides of the gasket for the housing, as when I put my new t-stat in with new gasket, it leaked immediately without using RTV.

Hey peeps just got home today from the weekend trip to NH. Did the typical touristy things. Camped (trailer) at Mountain Lkake camping resort. Traveled to storyland, Santa's village, Zeb's country store, Mount Washington, and did a scenic train ride. Wife also surprised me with a little gem when we got home.

Both times, OEM Toyota. I contacted the seller both times, and they both confirmed the part would fit my truck. One seller was a dealer in Virginia, and the other was in California. The only reason I bought a second one was the part number was updated, but it was still too small.

Yea already told the wife skipping storyland, wasn't worth it. And we just randomly went to the mountain so we weren't prepared. Luckily we at least had sweatshirts but were wearing shorts lol baby included lol. It was 43 degrees at the top and windy to the point where I was dedicated baby Carrier lol
