just put diesel fuel in your windshield wiper reservoir and squirt it in the exhaust manifold may work. I could be wrong though.

I think that smoke shows are idiotic, my car smokes because it's pushing more fuel through the system than air, smoke is unused fuel (energy) showing it's inefficiency, but it's done so that the engine temps stay lower, running rich vs running lean.

 

Diesel is a whole other game though with fueling and stuff. My old f350 would roll coal.

 

the whole rolling coal scene ruined diesels image and harmed the aftermarket world.

 

sorry not paying 1000 dollars for a snorkel or 1500 for a roof rack

Yes the guys that did it just to be cool I agree. But to push big power out of a diesel the fueling is completely different than a gas motor and they need to be "overfueled" it's kinda the nature of the beast. Same with some of the other fuels like ethenol, methenol, etc they require a lot richer fuel mixtures than regular gas.

 

I get that, read my comment above yours on the reasoning.

As far as different fuels all engines work with this simple reasoning, more air + more fuel = more power. It’s the combustion process that’s different.

However the aftermarket scene shot themselves in the foot because people demanded “smoke show” tunes and sadly they sold them. In face some people wouldn’t buy from a tuner who didn’t offer the feature. This was simply to dump excessive fuel in when not needed.
