Wax ring is not a bad idea but you can only fix a wobble with a shim.

Should I be concerned about buying a used car that has hit a person?

Surprisingly, my local Autozone has them. The only downside is that you have to go to Autozone.

I feel like the CO TW crew could air a lot of grievances in this manner.

For those of you with a 2nd gen DCSB:

Do you ever feel as though the bed space is lacking when it comes to dispersed truck camping?

If you have a snowboard and/or skis how do you fit them in the bed? I ride on a 162 cm snowboard and my daughter is already on 150s skis. By my understanding I’d have to set these diagonally in the bed in order for them to fit.

This last camping trip really put a damper on my 1st gen xtra cab. I have owned this truck for 20 years and 200,000 miles. I’m so sentimentally attached. However given the fact that it’s now me, my daughter, girlfriend and 55 lbs dog, it’s literally impossible to fit all of us in the vehicle. I had to have someone else drive my daughter while I took their gear. And even then it was kind of too small for my dog in the back of the cab. Normally the most chill and accepting dog, he was pretty unhappy and eventually puked everywhere due to car sickness I believe. And car rides are his favorite.

So during the entire ride home yesterday I was thinking of solutions. A 2nd gen isn’t my ideal solution but a 1st gen DC has an even smaller bed. So I don’t know if that’s viable either.

Looking for real world experience for those questions above.

And since you want to ask, here’s a pic of my dog on his first ever camping trip. Canoe-in/out style.
