Get to B04 and load 2.0! Even though it is beta it is the best yet.

    ok ok cool.
Biggest hurdle will be searching this epic thread for the right info. It takes an hour to catch up on this thread if I stay away a few days.

Tactrix cable that came with the tune is all good for techstream update?

You can usually talk your dealer into updating to B04. I simply explained the erratic shifting especially on hills and there is a TSB suggesting they update the firmware.

Little update on my experience with 2.0 beta. I work from home so I don’t get out on the roads as much as before but I’ve been out and about on the hills of the San Francisco Peninsula this weekend and 2.0 87 with 91 gas is a dream to drive now!
1.05.1 91 perf worked well climbing the hills but always seemed right on the edge of reverting to its stock behavior. Almost like the 1.x tunes were an improvement masked on top of the stock tune still hiding beneath. 2.0 simply feels like a different truck now. I’m having to relearn to drive it like a normal truck and stop trying to compensate for where I expected the performance to fall flat on its face. 2.0 climbs hills like they are nothing now! (One hill is about an 11% grade @ 35mph) Still too early to tell but my average mpg around town (90% city driving) was around 15 to 16 mpg. So far I’m holding steady at 17.5.

That’s too bad. No early shift for me on 93 2.0.

Yeap.I did run all my local hill, some 12% and more. Tune does surprise me. I drove early version of 2.0 93 and this version of 87 ( 87 fuel)way better. Better in stop/go traffic and open roads, long inclines and just drive up the hill.
There is a bit of remant of TC shudder at specific speed/load, but it is not significant .
    300 miles so far.

Yah, jumps to 3rd a tad bit too soon IMO. Rarely 4th. Altogether not that often

I've been running 2.0 87. It shifts good but the snap and power I'm use to with 1.05.1 91octane are gone. I'm going back to 1.05.1 91oct until 2.0 91oct non-gl drops. The truck just feels more lively with 1.05.1 compared to 2.0 (I know all of our trucks behave differently)
    My 2 cents.

TIL People still use Yahoo mail. It's like those crazy people still using aol.com email addresses. WTH is wrong with people? I can't take anyone seriously when they give me an aol.com or yahoo email address.
