The Premium package adds dual climate. The TRD Off-road does not.

Dont you need a dampening system for dual climate to separate the vents? I bet its not going to work that way with the OR. Welcome back to the 20th century.

My 2018 TRDOR does not have the the only 2 things that I miss from my Crosstour...dual zone climate control and leather heated seats. My better half has a wildly fluctuating temperature requirement...me, not so much. Those options prevented quite a few “discussions” that I frequently lose.

My 2017 came with four-way independent climate control. Each one rolls up and down :bananadance:

All of the trucks are wired the same. It’s just whether or not Toyota uses those wires or not with the package they include. However, there are other things needed to be installed on the trucks that cost a lot for these features. Toyota makes sure of it

    The irony.
Some want to spend $1000 to install it being they don't have it, and some wish they never had it because they don't want to spend $1000 to fix it when it breaks.

The blend doors on the HVAC unit is the crazy part. You'd have to gut the entire dash out and replace it, well over 1000$

My parents were so cheap while I was a kid, my father took off the belt to the AC in the car to save money on MPG. We had no other choice, quad manual AC

i wanna bump this up to see if anyone undertook this task since my absence. seems like theres more than a few that would be happy just to have the digital read out and keeping their single zone ac. dual zone cluster looks way the heck better even if for purely asthetics. i think what could work is some sort of harness that converts the two plugs (analog single) to one plug (digital dual.)

I have climate control in my highlander and really love it. Don’t use the dual function too much— I just like to set it and forget it—- always a nice 72 deg no matter what. Really wish I had it in my 2020 sr5... I agree that the dual zone is unnecessary— all I want is the temp automation. Yeah, if anyone figures this out with a pick-n-pull, I would love to know how to do it!

Don’t hold your breath, he said he would do it if it’s cheap and easy. Unfortunately it’s like a 10-15 hour job taking the dash apart and putting it back together, definitely not easy. Also sourcing a hvac unit will be expensive as well
