It isn't unheard of for me to wait around for months just to have the INSTANT gratification of, "someone backed out, this is available right now"..... I know I should get on the list though, the factory one is gross, the TRD cueball is giant and has that retaining nut...

Patience. I won't speak to the actual lead time for custom orders, but I sent my inquiry on March 1st. The, (one of the) Ti knobs is mine. I'm happy to wait for good work.

I'm in the same boat. I don't like the leather wrapped factory dildo, and the TRD one just doesn't do it for me either. I have an odd affinity to Titanium just like @TeecoTaco. :boink:

Do I need to get on a list for a Ti automatic, or just have to be a quick buyer when they are posted for sale?

Ti or SS will not be posted for sale, only Aluminum and Delrin-hybrid configurations will be sold that way.

I started a list for customs last week sometime, and don't mind taking names for that as it only means I have to chase 2 people around every month or two. Doable. Figure I will send an email or two and just move down the list until I have a taker. I didn't plan to do this, it kinda happened organically.

Current schedule is to finish up current batch, then make two more customs starting on 9/23. There is only 1 person on the list so far with one more pending as I got another request via email last night.

Nice. I love doing thread milling. Way easier especially when doing really large diameter threads.

Yep, and smaller threads like this in Ti, Inconel, invar, etc ...

I wouldn't even make Ti knobs if it wasn't for the ease of this process. Tapping those materials is just not worth it.

This is the #1 MOD I have been waiting for. Will you have any available for purchase for 2019 MT with delrin ring and knurling? Can i be put on a list, do you post it here when they are ready? Either way these things are so sick. Great work, really impressive. @7r41lbr34k3r

what is this pattern you're talking about. i'm just curious. i have a Core kit on my floor going in on Monday. right out of the box with a M12 x 1.25 knob screwed on. not trying to jack your question, i'm just trying to understand so i can do my own install smoothly.

when you select the Core shift kit, you have to select the vehicle, and my understanding is that sets you up with the correct threads on the shaft. maybe i'm wrong, it could be worth a check that the vehicle-specific part is both the shaft length AND the threads. i have assumed it's both, but maybe not? this is listed under knobs off the Core site:

    Manuals - assumes OE shifter:
