I dunno....worse ways to spend a day..

A number of years ago, my family and my wife's sister's family used to go up to the mountains in mid-October for a long weekend. Do a little bowhunting, hike, just chill. Usually Thursday thru Sunday. Well, the one year as it got closer to our annual trek the forecast got gloomier and gloomier. It pretty much rained from Thursday until Sunday morning. So we got four adults and seven kids, ranging in age from 10 months to 12 years old. In a 600 square foot cabin. Prolly one of the best trips we ever had. Kept a fire going in the fireplace, watched movies until all hours of the night. Played games, told stories, Kids sleeping everywhere. Listened to the rain on the tin roof. Lotsa good food and family. Yeah, it was a GOOD time!
