So I tried searching around and I cannot find anything related to the brake controller. I'm trying to see what is out there as far as compatibility or plug in play capabilities. I have a 2019 TRDOR. Do I need to add any wires or just the controller? There is a Teconsha one on Amazon for around $140. I'm new to owning a truck so pardon my ignorance taco gods. Also anyone wanting to sell a pop up trailer in so cal? I got some cash burning my pocket. Thanks in advance.

Techonsha P3, you will also need the adapter for the harness:

    Tekonsha 90195 P3 Electronic Brake Control https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000P17NXQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_JpEuDb02F0QBR

Tekonsha 3031-P Brake Control Wiring Adapter-2-Plug, Toyota Tacoma 2015-2018 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0781KTCPT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_wqEuDbFH95XCD

Make sure to get the harness with the white ground cord, the ones without had issues.

There is a towing bible thread here all about setting everything up, including mounting the controller. I put mine in the left cubby with the wires going through a hole I cut in the back.

I've used the P3 in a few different trucks pulling a double axle camper. Works great!

This is the cleanest thing I could find so I went with it. Works great and looks good too. It has a hidden brain and a small knob that comes with a knock out that fits Toyota.

I used the Hopkins insight flex mount, it comes in serval parts and connect together. I got a blank panel that replaced the cubby hole the left of the steering wheel and mounting the display near the shifter. You just need the proper adaptor to plug into the truck, the Toyota connector is hidden pretty well behind the left kick panel.

I recently saw a module that plugs into the where the trailer plugs into and then the trailer plugs into it and it’s Bluetooth to your phone I believe it was like $225 I can look for it again if you would like

Ditto the RedArc Tow Pro Elite, I've not found anything easier to use and as clean an install.

RedArc Tow Pro is where it's at, just wish I'd put it on the left side of the switches, little hard to see where I put it.

Agreed, I put mine where the clutch start cancel is on the manual (gotta auto tranny). Getting the Meso ECT button mod leaves a perfect place to move the Tow Pro Elite.

Thanks everyone for the info. Now does the red arc need an adapter or does it come with several? I know you have to buy an adapter with the tekonsha
