Congrats on filling your tags MQQSE, but with bullets flying over your head it doesn't sound like a good place to be hunting!

 

MQQSE sounds like a war zone but glad you guys tagged out, had a good time and are safely home.

Speaking of bullets, a young chef moving in to his new apt. nearby, had cross words with a guy riding by on a bicycle. The cyclist pulled a gun & shot the chef 5 times & rode off. It was all caught on video but the man is still dead!
I won't even honk in traffic for fear of being shot.

 

Evening all:
You can get shot, stabbed, punched, rammed, runover, etc., for even less than honking a horn, crazy world we live in today.

 

On my recent three week trip in the PNW, people still acted like "California" drivers. Rush, rush, way over the speed limit, some tail gating. No farmer or redneck threatened me.

It Sure is Carl. I'm glad I still have my sanity … Beautiful day out there today, but there is more rain in the forecast.

 

Heck. I had people doing stuff like that to me on Cape Cod. Vacationers all, New York tags mostly, monstrous SUVs in every case as well. The folks who live there understand that certain roads get choked up at certain times and just deal. As in, letting people cut in or cross when the traffic is heavy. It's pretty cool most of the time, except for those pesky vacationers.

 

And don't dare flash your lights at someone sleeping or texting well after the traffic light goes green.

Road rage is every where.

 

Seems I stepped on some toes yesterday with one of my posts. For that I apologize. I was referring to a couple of different comments, but on re-reading it, it looked like it was all directed @2Toyotas but it wasn't. Sorry Ken.

He told me he quit following this thread. Will have to let him know. I have camped with him and a few others a few days from a stove forum besides the Coleman group. Pretty up standing guy and his wife, lays it on the line.

When Mike (aka Tex ) came in from day one he explained he was going by Tex and not Mike to avoid confusion with me. Very Respectful... I use peoples on screen name unless it’s a direct one on one conversation after the initial contact. As more and more people come in ,with the same name ,will lead to confusion. Just use the screen name ,and tag them if you prefer, to get in that personal conversation.
If I quote someone I’ll usually tag the person, then change his onscreen name to whatever my mood strikes me and he knows it’s them.

Ahhh, the many moods of Tacoma Mike.

Solid practice and good advice. It is actually the reason behind my "GOB, Chief Pal Guy (aka Rob III) moniker. There are 3 original Rob's in the 40s thread and it used to get confusing in the early days of that thread.

Up early...use the time to clean guns and sort/clean hunt gear and clothes.

Up a little early too. Repo discovered grasshoppers the other afternoon when we were camping. Good snack. Crunch, crunch. He was on the prowl.
Think I'll revarnish my door today, been five years maybe since I last did the outside, showing some weathering, plus when the guy remodeled my place, he textured the door also, never completely cleaned all that out of the nooks.
