Im getting kings front and back with a dakar leaf pack and spc uca's next week. I see the Dakar gives a 2 inch lift. I don't want my rear higher then front at all. My question is will I be able to level the truck out and set the front coilovers to the proper height.

if it helps this is the setup

front- king 2.5 standard length (600)
    rear- king 2.5 standard length
    SPC UCAs
    Dakar leaf pack (medium)

Yes. Keep in mind the leafs will settle a skooch, so if you crank the fronts up to match the rears fresh off the lift, you'll end up nose high after a couple weeks.

Why does your truck look way higher in the rear?

Depends on what pictures you're looking at. Some of my Instagram pics were before I got the Kings adjusted and my new tires. Right now I'm set to 2" front and rear. I wanted to keep the natural rake of the truck.

When I did my King and deaver leaf upgrade i got about 2 inches in the back from the leafs and was able to match that in the front with the shocks. However when off road the shocks had the tendency to top out much more easily since they were sitting higher in the travel because of the preload. If you don't do much offroad than that won't really be a problem. But since I do I lowered the front preload so the shock sits more in the middle of the travel at the King recommended height. Now they feel perfect offroad, and there is about a 1.25 inch rake between front and back of the truck.

but if you wanted to you could raise the front coils to level out the truck right? I was just worried the Dakar would leave my rear higher then the front.

That’s what I was going to say. If you are running Dakar’s you should get extended travel to take advantage of the extra droop you’ll get.

600# coil? You know the 3rd gen stock coil is 700# right? You want those 700# coils if you want to avoid sagging. Dakars should be fine...

Also, rake is good. Helps with stopping and carrying loads better
