    Ok so long story short, my tailgate was stolen from my 2015 Tacoma..
    I’ve been ordering the parts to build a new one myself and the issue I’ve had lately is finding the right screws for the plastic protector pieces.
    The back inner hatch panel and the top protector molding.
    The ones I ordered didn’t come with the screws for some reason! And I can’t seem to find them!
    Any help would be very much appreciated!

    I got mine from eBay! You can order them prepainted and it looks really good, everything fit great!
    Wow they got you too? Man I wish more than anything to catch a tailgate thief and beat them with it!!!

    All my bolts are thread locked and I grinded off the flat head from the hose clamp so not even I will be able to take it off!
    Oh and I have cameras coming and a baseball bat by my door waiting for the next thief

    Open your tailgate and those clamps go on the tailgate ends where it attaches to the bed. It's done to slow down a potential quick grab type theft considerably which may prevent one. Tailgate theft is easy money for crooks. Takes less than a minute to steal one and very easy to resell a perfect tailgate on the street.

    I just don't even get what these people that steal tailgates even do with them. I just imagine going into an alley and some dude asking me if I wanna buy a tailgate that fell off a truck.

    First thing I did on my Tacoma was put a clamp on it. I can't stand thieves.
