    Just loaded 2.0 4.88 87 octane and only have about 50 miles so far and it is probably the best thing ever for this truck!

    Once i get some more miles I'll have some more feedback. But overall the truck no longer struggles and actually feels "competent"

    I'm running the 4.88 tune using 5.29's nothing weird has come up. I'm assuming the shift points only be THAT much better with a 5.29 specific tune.

    2.0 87 is the best tune so far. I can't wait till the revisions are done. Awesome job to Mat and OVTune. Those of you who don't have it yet, it's worth the wait.I just took it on at 30 mile cruse and it shifted spot on.

    I have found something I (personally) don't like about 2.0. I suspect this was intended by Mat based on something he posted a while back, so it may just be a preference thing.

    Here is the scenario:
    In Drive (no ECT) and on the accelerator hard, (like buried) racing down an on ramp getting to traffic speed,
    Hit my desired speed and engine is above 4k rpm... maybe even 5 or 6K,
    take my foot off the throttle,
    truck doesn't shift but instead decelerates as engine slows.

    It acts just like a manual you don't up-shift. I've tried this three or four times going to various speeds between 45 & 75.
    This is not what I'd prefer from an automatic transmission. I don't want to have to feather the throttle back to hold speed while I wait for the up-shifts to happen... but if others do, I understand, and I respect Mat for writing the tune that way. I am not complaining and I appreciate many of the other improvements. I only post so others can be aware that 2.0 may not be perfect for everybody.

    It did occur to me, too, this may be a Gear Lock thing that I've just never seen in a Base tune (which is 98% of what I've been running).
    I look forward to the next release.

    Probably gear lock in D behaviour. I think to get it to upshift with your foot buried you have to let off a bit.

    In 2.0 final, gear lock will only be engaged if you switch to S mode. D will behave like an automatic.

    I thought even with 2.0 that gearlock is only enabled with the ECT engaged and D w/o ECT was normal behavior. Maybe @OVTune can shed some light

    Sorry, i was asking does 4.88 have 87, 91 etc. or is it just one tune for the gear set. I have been traveling can't check in FM.
