Agreed. Current gen Tacoma’s look horrible with the painted fender flares. Had a Sport before the Pro.

I would find that really hard to believe, just maybe not available yet for allocations?

Just relaying what my salesman told me.

And I highly doubt they would stop making them for the 2020. That just sounds silly.

If they did I'd probably drop considering getting a 2020 Tacoma to replace my 2012 Taco and 2010 Subaru Outback (I have a few other vehicles I am looking at as well). My current Taco is DCSB and if I buy new it will be DCLB for a truck, I don't need what the Pro or Limited offer, OR is what I am looking at.

I wonder what grille will be on SR and SR5. I like the Limited Grille that was shown and think It will look cool in black.

From what I've read the new grill will go all the way down to the SR model

Makes sense the SR, SR5 grille were the same minus the bezel (chrome / no chrome), looks like at least the 2020 TRD is a one piece without the bezel, can't tell with the limited as its still got that chrome ring (and pretty damn ugly imo).

The roof material is not Stuck to the sheet metal on the roof. Under the sheet metal there are ridges that add strength then a stiff backer material and the materiel with a foam backing. It’s already around 2 inches off the sheet metal. Do you think the sunroof makes it 4 inches from the sheet metal. I’ve had the headliners out of cars without and with sunroofs and have never seen that much of a difference.

The lost head/cargo room in my '03 T4R was significant and easily observed by how much of a bump down the headliner made around the sunroof area vs the rest of the ceiling in the SUV. I'd guess about 2" without having one to measure anymore.

The sunroof rails are not stuck to the bottom of the ridge rails that stabilize the roof. They go against the sheet metal. The slide beneath the sunroof is higher than the material on the roof of an none sunroof. Have you ever had an headliner out of a vehicle?

Yup thats exactly why I opted for a 2018 Pro over 2019 was the extra headroom with no sunroof. I've had sunroofs in previous vehicles and don't use them nearly as much as I thought I would. Everyone's height breakdown is different, but I'm 6'3" for what it's worth.

Have you ever had the headliner out of a 3rd gen tacoma?

People are going from their experiences actually sitting and driving in the truck with and without sunroofs.

The sunroof rails are not attached to the bottom of the ridge rails that are support for the sheet metal. The slide under the sunroof is higher than the material in a non sunroof. Have you ever had the headliner out of a car? Biggest thing is to sit in it and see how you fit.
