ask for forgiveness with ribs and brisket? cooked on the new pit of course

I'm always in the same boat. I've used the "I'm getting rid of some of the less used pits" argument too much I think

    Wow. This thread moves fast...

My smoked salmon turned out amazing! I used brown sugar n a salt brine. Followed by coriander, Chipotle red pepper, and lime for seasoning after the first hour in the smoker. During the second hour I lightly basted it with raw dark maple syrup and it was delicious.

Then, last night I made a Shrimp and Smoked Salmon pasta with a homemade seafood cream sauce. It was epic!!!

About to order. So just 2 will be fine? Or should I order 3? I think they should fit on the gasser, weber, and GMG

Paid less for THREE grates than the set of 3 and the tool costs! ($73 + shipping for the set) What a steal!

My 2 are only 12" I set them on to of the existing grates, but the slide around a bit. I just hold them with channel locks when flipping burgers.
16.25 will sit just fine if you pull the GMG grate, but I think just 2 of them. 3 will probably need to sit on top of the GMG grates. Try it both ways.
I gave 45 bucks for my 2 short ones plus a grate tool. I'm jealous! Still the best money I've spent on the grill.

We all want to see pics!

Ya I'm hoping I can just do a direct replacement of the 2 in the gaser and the GMG. Figured for how cheap they are I might as well buy the 3rd right? Guess I Should have just gotten 4. Keep 2 in the GMG and 2 in the gasser at all time ha! Oh well. It'll be nice to have that 3rd for the Weber as well on top. Can't wait to get em
