Didn't your buddy with the 3rd gen DCSB want some sliders? Maybe he would like to buy these and I wouldn't have to TX express them to H'ville. @Jerneyman?

 

In Wes' defense, it wasn't his fault, they were bombproof sliders with beautiful welds. I have a 3rd gen Access Cab and he has a 2nd gen DCSB. Rear mounts were about 3/4" too far back to clear my rear cab mount. Plus, I honestly think the frame rail on the 3rd gens are also a wee bit wider than they are on the 2nd gen. When I get my 2nd gen out of the shop, which should be the end of this week, I'll take some measurements to verify.

 

@Jerneyman would you want to sell these sliders to @Tacticool_Ty, who has a 2nd gen double cab I believe?

 

I'm still waiting to hear what the plan is for drill in the coming months. Hopefully I can get down there, but there's always people dragging their feet when it comes to getting information out.

 

Yeah, potentially. I still want to see them before I resell them though and double check everything on them and make sure it wasn't an issue that would effect the double cabs. Good news is the other sets that I built the same time as yours fit for those guys so I think it was just an isolated problem with the Access Cab.

 

If he want's to give them a shot, that's fine with me. Ya'll just fit them up and make sure they work and we can figure out payment after that if he wants them. As far as the mounting hardware, I got that figured out now, so all that should fit without any issues.

 

@Tacticool_Ty wanted to buy Wes' sliders too. So if your buddy falls through @InfernoChalupa, I think Ty would want them.

Yes it’s a double cab but is 2 wheel drive.

 

I gotta admit, the cameras are awesome....but not sure what complications they would cause with aftermarket bumpers.

it's okay to be venting and unhappy with a situation, I get frustrated at least once a day lol

 

I really don't much. I get annoyed when people keep changing their minds or not voicing their opinions accurately lol. That's easy to deal with though.
