That'd be a far more appropriate truck. I'd like to do the same actually. Build a "street legal" buggy using half the factory frame from an 80's Toyota. 3 link the front and do a trailing arm rear and some junkyard 1 ton axles. That way I can daily drive my "truck" with 4 feet of suspension travel on 40's

 

We need to go hunt some management areas this season. I know of some "spots" that will you will probably score on! I really want to go to the Black Warrior area and shotgun hunt some hogs, with some Brenneke Black Magic!

 

yeah an old 80s Toyota truggy is my dream toy. really still wish I had just held out and kept my 85 4Runner...but it is what helped me get my Tacoma.

 

And I wish I'd have kept my Dodge Dakota but it was a money pit who leaked every fluid everywhere. Would've loved to do a 4x4 conversion on that truck.

honestly I'd probably sell you the decked if you still want it. I don't use it like I should and you'd be like the prime candidate for the thing with the camper shell and fridge and all.

 

Front parts bedsides and fenders

 

nothing has been cut on the front! only 1.5" on the fenders, a hole for the snorkel, and the bedsides for the HC lol. that's not even close to half!

now...my old truck...16.5" out of the bed....that was nearly half.

 

Fridge is going in the trailer, but i may be down for that after this move. I would love to have it for sure

 

There is a possibility there lol. Dont know if ot when id ever do it tho.

I'm paying $975 for new clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing and pilot bearing. Transmission shop called and said that the input shaft sleeve is worn the f*ck out! Gonna tack another $300 onto the clutch job...

 

Shoot me text on that, and ill see what i can do. It wony be till after the moved either way. Buy would be really nice.
