Not sure if it was already mentioned, but if you want to at least eliminate the CV axle:
    • Lift the front end of the truck
    • Turn the steering wheel all the way to one side
    • Manually rotate the wheel/tire around by hand while listening for clicks or for resistance to turning
    • Rotate the steering all the way the opposite direction
    • Repeat the rotation of the wheel/tire
    • Check this on both sides
If you dont feel any feedback or resistance, nor hear any clicking from the CV joint, they're likely OK.

I'm a rebel and running illegally without a front plate until it is legal in Ohio, July 2020

    On my to-do list!

I need to do this. I did lift the front up and spun the wheels, but didn't turn the wheel to full lock and try it that way.

I was able to swap the front tire to the rear yesterday, as suggested by @Bishop2Queens6, and it seems to have followed the wheel!

I haven’t driven it that much, but I can already tell it is no longer blaring through my drivers window. I could very faintly hear it while driving next to a curb. Very faint, coming from the passenger window.

So glad it is something with the tire/wheel and not the suspension or drive line. I still have the stickers, but have a set of cooper discoveries that I will be putting on before winter. I guess I will find out for sure if it’s the tire then.

Thanks for all the suggestions and ideas. If nothing else, it jogged my memory on some routine maintenance I have lapsed on :boink:
