Why is that crazy? I can do 80 in my sas junk pile, it's just that the cases will overheat and puke all their fluid out if it does it for a while! Usually cruise around 70-75 depending on how much shit I have in it and how far I'm going. Slow it down a bit on long road trips due to smashed up fuel tank that holds around 10 gallons.

That truck from the pics looks a little tall, but no swampers so that means it probably has round tires and handles half decent while not riding like a sybian. (I take no liability if you Google what that is at work and get fired)

Listing said it can do 80mph, doesn't mean it should.

Mine can do 80mph on the interstate, doesn't mean my wallet is gonna like 10 or less mpg. Needs 35s damn it!

My junk is happy 65-70 but will go 80 fine. It would cruise there all day on 35’s when it was my DD. My level of sophistication on the build is setting pinion angle with a 2x4 too...So I can’t imagine a 4.0 truck having much drama at 80

I have legally had mine at 118-120 for a short distance.:cool: I had load range E 265/75R16 Nitto terra grapplers on. I felt safe in the truck. The biggest thing was watching my gas gauge move as I was doing it.

After correction when I am doing 72 on my dash I'm going 85. Truck doesn't like it on hills but if it's flat it does just fine.

Any of you guys out of beer or cash?

Need to replace my needle bearing - and maybe a lower control arm if I can afford the part.

I’d rather not do either of those by myself.

I've got the ECGS bushing and puller. Have a socket I'm sure would work to get it back in, or could rent a seal driver from O'Reily's.

Never done either of them before.

Curious if anyone has any knowledge of camping around Memphis area? I am traveling to OKC tomorrow with hopes of spending Friday night in my RTT would prefer dispersed camping but a actual campground would do. Memphis is about half way for me so whether its in Arkansas or Tennessee really doesn't matter to me. Thanks for any help

Agricenter RV park seems safe. Never camped but been by it often.
There is a "Tom Sawyer..." across the river. Never been to it but West Memphis over there is generally to be avoided.
There is a KOA camp just across in AR but outside of West Memphis that I have seen but know nothing about.

Edit: I assume you are passing through on I40.

A little bit out of the way, but Meeman State Park in Millington is pretty nice. Unfortunately primitive sites are only for the boy scout groups but the regular sites with a fire out and running water dont suck
