    I think I'll just go to REI and have them tell me what to buy so I can just toss it in the trash after camp lol. Pooping in a bucket shouldn't require this much research damn it!

    When I used to guide on the Colorado a long time ago, NPS wanted people to just pack out the crap, and pee in the river - too much urine in the sand was stinking up the group campsites. Now the companies send a garbage boat after the customers leave to pick up all of the waste at the sites. Too many people for sure! It’s good though that everything is being collected, even by private boaters.

    Have to say that its highly responsible of you guys doing the same in packing out the poo, good job!

    Just got back from REI, got the "luggable loo" and the "double doodie" bags mentioned above. They guy there said as long as you don't overfill it and all the waste has chemically reacted with the solution in the bags, they're safe to throw into regular trash.
