Ok fine you guys are right, it was a bit hard to figure out what the hell I was asking about. In my defense I didn’t know what to call them, so that’s what came out. Yes I should’ve put pics of the door panels and the placement of where I wanted the strip to run. That’s what 5 beers half a joint, I live in Maine it’s legal, and ADHD will do to a thread. Admittedly I am of no help because you have already gotten some great suggestions from other users regarding what to do.

Drill those out with a spade bit just like another poster said. You can reinstall with #10 x 1/2" sheet metal screws and 1/4" washers. I just did this on my 2nd gen door panels last weekend.

 

I like that spade bit. That’s what I will do...with the rest of them. The drill bit sucked into the first 2 and I stoped using it. Big nasty holes. Panel is out. Make this like that all the way around and done.

 

Well... maybe, this is a box or something to do something with. It’s in there. Driver rear door panel.
