That’s look good. Kudos for going with flat , bodywork has to be spot on.

When l first heard about painting your vehicle with Line-x. I thought it was a crazy idea. But if l ever had to paint my whole truck, I'd definitely use it!!!!

Truck looks great by the way

Depending how ambitious you are, check out you tube "how to paint your car with Rustoleum and a foam roller. You thin the paint down with thinner and give it a least 4 coats, sanding in between each. Some of them come out very good.

Rustoleum , foam roller now we’re getting desperate. The need for quality is is definitely going lower.

I thought the same also, until I watched the videos. Take your time and it comes out very good.

Personally, if I'm going to go the cheap route from a novice standpoint, there's no way I would have the skills or patience to hand roll or rattle can a paint job. Give me a cheap HF spray gun and a compressor any day. Much faster, nicer result and likely cheaper in paint costs and supplies if you already have a compressor. Although, I wouldn't mind to see a Tacoma painted with foam rollers like these:

Actually it will look like a vehicle painted with spray paint.

It can turn out about the same, but I've seen some in person, that were done with care, and they do actually turn out rather well. Surprisingly, way beyond "spray paint" quality appeal.

Agreed it's going to be far from a $10K paint job, but the ratio of result vs cost, in comparison to the $10K paint job, is impressive as hell. Often, it's more than good enough for the majority of petrol heads and their non-show vehicles.

One item to note with line-x, good luck getting the dirt out of crevices. Such a pain in the ass on my sliders.

    Truck looks good.

That’s is neat looking, but eventually you will always look dirty, just cause soonernor later you just can’t get the crevices clean. On the plus side you can rub paint with someone and your won’t come off.
