Exactly. You know damn well Sammi’s 4Runner will get flashed as soon as HPT has support for them.

It’s her not me. She wants more power, and better mpg’s. And SHE wants real suspension. It hit her hard after this weekend watching how good the ADS managers tahoe did with their bolt in and tuned suspension. That and she spent most of the weekend in caged, linked, desert trucks. Said she left camp one night to head home and blasted a couple whoops forgetting she wasn’t in my truck lol. Tuning is good for all aspects of everything on every vehicle.

3rd gen ECU is different and our software employs brick protection so if you pull the cord mid flash it can be recovered over OBD.
Our software can do this even on the 2nd gen ECUs as long as you do not turn off the truck.

Perhaps licensing this tech to HPTuners is a possibility? Might be a win for everyone. Just throwing the thought out there

So to get prepped for my future ecu(s). is it possible to register the immobilizer ecu (via the 30 min jumper dealio) to multiple ecus? @JustDSM

IE, im getting a same part number but not original to my truck ecu tomorrow, im going to pair it and get the truck running. My original to the truck ecu is getting fixed by OVTune, once that one gets back id like to also pair that to the truck, that way if shit hits the fan I can plug the non used ecu in and go asap without having to wait 30 min and hope that things pair properly.

In short, no you can't have multiple ecus paired with the immobilizer. Have to do the 30 min "hand shake" each time

Only one can be paired at a time.

I'm nervous to do a data log if this compromise of ecu could happen.

My newest. I’m debating putting the EXC transmission in it.

2016 KTM 500EXC. Best do-everything bike I've ever owned. 690 was great, but this does everything except highway better.

Sorry to hear about all your bricks. Chance to get out and ride the motos, tho amaright?
