Thank you, although it was expensive and a lot of work it was worth it to build it with him.

How often do you guys check trail cams? Do you think I'd be interrupting the flow of things checking my backcountry cams every 2 weeks?

I think that would be fine. I've checked mine and had deer back in there within a couple of hours.

its prob not an issue, just make sure its between 10am-3pm. You might jump a few straggler deer but most of the traffic will be early morning or late evening...typically.

ive seen about 4 or more doe, 1 fawn and a bunch of elk...they like skirting the seasonal creek and sneak around out of sight. BUT little do they know Ive been watching them! I really got this set up early for a friend. His daughter is going hunting for the first time so we are trying to get her on a doe at minimum. Theres a nice 10pt up the hill but Ive only seen one pic of him at night.

I try to check my cams and check food plots on Wednesday as a ritual,
If my sons or I plan on hunting the upcoming weekend, I'll put out 50 lb. of corn.
That way there should be some feed left and a few days since I was there disturbing them.
