Yeah, I did some 4x10's with Wednesday off and it was amazing how much I could get done or Ski runs I could do on a Wednesday.

Fortunately I make my own hours for the most part unless shit hits the fan. It was approved last winter to even work 4x10 to get a day off to ski but it's hard for me to stay in here for 10 hours haha

When setting our shifts I specifically asked to work weekends and have weekdays off. They all laughed and happily said ok. Now they all complain how crowded everything is. I rarely see people when I'm out. :D

Did you hit Smokin' Yards? We used to bike in Virginia Canyon before shit hit the fan there and would always stop by and have them save us some burnt ends for the afternoon. Such a good spot.

"hard" is probably similar.. it's clearing all rock the route healy went that would require more speed to clear from what i see comparing videos between nelson and healy

I know exactly the spot you're talking about, and I've watched over the years as that has gone from having solid vegetation between the trail and that rock to turning into a wide spot to a parking spot to pretty much being all dirt. Last time I was up there I even saw someone out on it and it was still questionable enough for me to debate stopping and saying something, but also so far gone I wasn't sure there'd be a point. This is a good example of where a few people start doing something and then it gets to the point where you can't even tell it isn't supposed to be ok. Without some specific restoration work and blocking it off with boulders, I don't think there's any way people are not going to go out there. And it seems extra stupid to me because sure it's more dramatic but the switchback below is pretty similar and has always been a parking area in the time I've known it.

Ran Ophir Pass and Imogene Pass yesterday, first time out in the Ouray/Telluride/Silverton area. Can confidently say it's my favorite in CO now.

Too many pictures to upload all. Will try and get a few up when I have better service
