OVtune is making a Ecoboost killer kit for the Tacoma right now. So Ecboooooooooooooost wont mean much, much longer!

You`ve never heard of those kits before tojo? Its not a uncommon setup man, Ive seen it a few times. Sides its not rear mounted, a real rear mounted is back by the back of the car, which HAS been done before an did work fine.

he got himself one of these and used similar words 'this one is cheaper'

idk about STS but I do know about it on a sports car. His setup has both side by side under the cab, which would work.

Plus the tundra will last far more than the 100,000 miles the f150 will. The 5.7 is one of the best motors toyota has ever made. That’s why I got my tundra this year, before they pulled a 3rd gen on it and ruined it.

Although 4 years later and tuned, I don’t have any complaints about the 3.5. Too bad toyota screwed the pooch from the factory.

It was a 2006 corolla. They said there was like $5k in damage or something and it was repairable and we were like uh, wtf are you valuing the car at? Towed it 800 miles home and had it appraised by someone else who went through it much more thoroughly and they totaled it.

We then found his unicorn truck a few days later before it even went through dealer prep and hit the lot

We also got a killer deal since apparently I’ve bought too many vehicles :anonymous:

My buddy’s f150 was fine until 90k miles

Since then he’s had (90-110k) the following fail:
    Trailer brake controller (factory integrated)
    Fuel pump
    Fuel pump control board
    Throttle body
Door lock actuators on 2 doors

And some other stuff I can’t remember. It’s left him stranded twice in the last 6 months, which isn’t good when you are traveling all over the country...
