    My shit is all stock.
My dirty. Sold now. 400xc-w. “Too much to list” were the mods. Best of everything. Such a great bike. Never let me down.

I’d really like to try a FreeRide if I ever ride again.

do I need to download and install the MPVI2 drivers as well?

Just downloaded the newest beta: the editor is still 4.4.4, scanner is 4.5.441. So has anything actually changed in the editor (since thats what writes the ecm)?

Were you starting fresh? Gotta install non beta, run it once, then install latest beta on top of it. Drivers are including in the install.

Oooo I almost bought a freeride 250r 2 stroke last year... But it's so hard to justify a "red sticker bike" here in so cal considering you can legally ride it half the year in the spots I like to ride. Sigh.... #comifonia

That's not how I installed mine. I installed the beta first, then had to install the drivers, then scanned. Granted, I have yet to write a tune (a bit paranoid now...), but have done compares on several tune files in the editor.

No, pretty sure I did that the first time round. But only the scanner is beta?

No, they're both considered beta. Especially the editor/writer.

I would like to know more about the safeguards if anyone knows. I recall HPTuners mentioning about shortening the flashing time to reduce the chances of something happening. Sounds like a move in the right direction. Just curious about any other safeguards or precautions they've taken in the 8/12 beta.
