Upon further inspection, I determined that is NOT an RC car. Holy crap, this thread is full of badass trucks.

 

It wasn’t mine. I snapped those pics at the dealership while I was waiting for service.

 

I have an 01 stanced like that. It’s not gray. It’s more of a “fiberglass flat white”

 

Did a different brand, but had my paint guy color match it and add more pearl (4x the factory recipe). 12 year old truck that needed new paint baaaaad (rust on hood and roof, scratches galore, body damage, etc). Didn't want to have to paint under the hood or in door jams. Honestly the cost was the same as a decent paint job anyways, so why not celebrate hitting 250k miles with something fun. I kept the grit chunks out of mine so it's more of an orange peel texture. Washes and wipes off clean without snagging even detailer towels.

Had the tent done in the same stuff, too.

Yes. As long as it's an authorized dealer/shop. The product is the premium or higher grade, and done on a new vehicle, it's lifetime warranty. They don't warranty old vehicles because of paint chipping, rust or other possible defects.

 

I was very much considering blue, or dark green.

 

Those that thinks he’s out of his mind should read between the line. He said “would have” so he likely paid substantially less. Probably some kind to hookup which is why he’s avoiding advertising the true cost.

But with Line-X you only have to do it once for the price. (Well you know that) Full body wrap has to be re-done every so many years.

I think it would be priceless not to worry about waxing the truck ever again. And use the soapy brush on it at the car wash. Priceless!
