Long Travel BS Thread

Got some stuff done while I wait for my axle to ship. Truck sits sky high because I just put it together. I still need to add extra leafs to pack from Deaver. There is also no front bumper/front diff on right now.

-New uniballs/misalignment spacers all around
-New zerks all around
-Total Chaos Nylatron bushings all around
-Solo Motorsports motor mount gussets
-Mounted (5) Walker Evans beadlocks

 

so alex, you get around to making templates for the gussets you were gonna work on?

oh and BTW... where's my wheel?

 

Silly question: what happens if you need to drop the motor with those welded "gusset" motor mounts? Do you need to remove them or do they just reinforce how the motor mounts mount to the frame?

Also do you have any more pics that might be a little higher up to get an idea from further away what they look like and how they fit!?

 

These gussets reinforce the motormounts from the bottom to the frame. They do not affect install/removing the engine at all.

Stock Rangers that is. Apparently the Tacoma's can handle it to some extent. I'm sure you know who/what I'm talking about.

 

Actually he bent his frame. If you are talking about you know who. I was talking to a guy that was there and helping him fix the taco

 

They should just change his name to YouKnowWho...lol

and went shooting out in Lucern Valley with my girlfriend yestrday.. but i dont have any pics of the taco..just of us shooting

my truck is going in the shop in less than a month now... finishing buying all the crap i need. still have more spending to do
