You need misalignment spacers for the lower uniball mounts.

IIRC you’ll need both 1.5” and 1.25” per shock. Call king to verify. But fox/king uniballs are the same size so they’ll work.

I didn't want to tell you to go back a few pages, so I did it for ya....
Please read the article in this quote , it's insightful and makes sense. Thanks AccuTune:thumbsup:

I started off with 650# coils, with full skids and sliders on, and anticipating a Slimline bumper. Without the bumper on, I think the ride on 650# coils was a bit too stiff. Totally doable, planted and controlled, but at the same time a bit stiff.
Life happen, things changed and I ended up putting on CBI T3 bumper +winch, still on 650# coils. At this moment I'm kinda on the verge of contemplating if maybe I should switch to 700# coils, but haven't decided yet...
So, around here you'll get all bunch of opinions on what's best for ya. But with stock weight vehicle, without planning on slapping bunch of weight onto it, I'd stick to 600s. That's my opinion .

    Good luck

Right! Sorry for your application, you're on the right track. I was referring to @thunderhope using #600 springs.

I got them through Poly actually and yes you are correct I needed two per lower mount. But King told me to get two of the same for a total of four of the 1.5". I can link the exact ones if anyone is interested.

Odd, I know it’s 4x I’ve had both a few manufacturers coil overs over the years and they each have one long and one short misalignment per shock. The longer one towards the front of the vehicle.

That's definitely what I was afraid of when ordering considering they charge 15$ to ship it. But I got 4 of these https://www.polyperformance.com/king-2-0-bs-shaft-25016-006
They did exactly what they were supposed to and I confirmed with King too. Have them installed w/ no rubbing of any sorts

    Hey guys,

Ive purchased used king 2.5s with a #700 spring in the front and standard travel (did not replace stock UCA yet). The previous owner tuned them to make them stiffer.

They are great and super smooth, but whenever i go over a speed bump, as the front tires are extending back out, I hear a little slam and I think they stop extending. Its not crazy loud or anything, but do people think that is because I havent changed out the UCA’s and they are bottoming out, or because the shocks are standard and not extended, and they are extending to their max?

The bump is not because the bump stop is hitting, because the mild bang is on the down travel when the tire is going down off the speed bump, not the up travel when it is just hitting the speed bump.

I do not think the UCA is rubbing (I may be wrong), but there doesn't seem to be any rub marks on the coils.

    Thoughts?

I was looking for information on the exact same thing happening on my truck. Brand new Kings, extended travel w comp. adjuster and I have about 200 miles on them so far. It’s not when the shock/coil overs are being compressed; it’s when I go over a bump and everything is extending back out to ride height I hear a thud in the front.
Btw, I have icon delta joint uca’s which are also brand new.

Do you have extended or standard travel? If you have delta UCA's, it must be the shock fully extending.. Thats the only plausible explanation for me
