We knew he was going to get stuck in that mud hole and John was shooting pictures of it so I did video duties.

Hey JohnnyRed yes I had to cut my stock skidplate. We figured when they copied all pro. All pro sold a matching skidplate that tied into their bumper
On a side point all of wheeling was rookie free . Good time wheeling with all of you

    Yeah, quoting myself.

I didn’t wash the exterior yet as I’m getting a new power washer and foam cannon shortly. It rained a bit at work today and left a hilarious ring of mud around my truck. I almost (almost) felt bad

Yea... Bigger hole in my pocket. Bought the eBay bumper, and almost bought a winch too. Lol.

What is this 303 you speak of?

You guys are cute. I just drive mine til the mud is mostly off from nature, then I'll consider rubbing soap on it, eventually. Maybe.

Aerospace 303, it’s a UV protectant / trim and interior detailing product. It doesn’t leave the shine and product build-up that Armor All does. It’s generally considered one of the better trim and interior products available.

I used to say the same. But I have come to realize its one of those "If you have to ask, you probably shouldnt" sort of moments, considering how much damage we did.
For not much money you can have someone who really knows what they are doing carefully restore it without hopefully taking too much clear off (though the Super White is single stage so that a whole 'nother animal)

Ive posted these results a couple times. Had a guy in Columbus take care of my stuff after doing major work to it down at Tar Hollow. $300 well spent.

    He did the following:

    Washed with Meguires Gold Class
Car Pro Iron X for decontamination (properly decontaminated first and foremost)
    Nano-pad medium grade clay mitt
    Bleach white to clean tires
Griots Garage wheel cleaner on wheels
Flex 3401 Orbital Buffer (good buffer)
Lake Country Microfiber Cutting Pads (good pads)
Meguires Ultimate Compound (does all the major work)
Lake Country Hybrid White Polishing Pads
HD Speed All-in-one Polish and Sealant (good finishing)
Used an Orange Pad on the roof (This was a special circumstance being single stage white)
2 coats of Collinite 476 Sealant
Wolfgang Exterior Trim & Sealant on trim and bumpers
    Stoners More Shine on tires.

(I think he spent 11-12 hours on it all in all)

I think some of the damage is worse this time, but without some major buffing expertise (I havent done it in many years), going to just go get out my Black Turtle Wax polish/wax and see if I cannot just hide the worst of them for now.

Short answer, looks like Meguires Ultimate Compound is the 'recommendation' here, but I recommend seeking professional help if you are not seasoned in paint correction. (If you are disregard all of this preaching!) I used to buff cars all the time for a detail department at a dealership but I wont touch this kind of work even on my own truck....Of course I also cant seem to give it enough skinny pedal when wheeling either so maybe I just dont have the balls lol

    Scratches, dents, lots of squeaks.
But that fj was so clean when it rolled up. Worth the money if you wheel rarely, as I get the feeling raintwater does

I apparently need tubes from the bumper to the slider up front. Found why those headlight trim pieces got loose
