I'm on factory leaf with a 1.5 in. Longer shackle. I don't see much difference between ours but ops definitely needs pulled up.

Then again I'm new to this. Never modded a vehicle just replaced what was already there.

Don't believe everything you read on the internet.

I installed mine stickers right side up like Bilstein says. People seem to go both ways on this one.

Yep learned that lesson. Now my drain holes are pointed up, and put two and two together, between the label being upside down and now the drain holes the wrong way. The shocks are not up side down ‍♂️‍♂️

Easy fix is a hot paperclip slid/poked through the boot for some drainage..

Yah I think I’ll just put them back to how Bilstein designs them be

Anyone with suggestions for new rear leaf spring, I purchased the 5100 for the rear as I knew my old leafs were toast. I’m only want to get at the most 1.5 lift. So what are you suggestions?

I put Alcan 5 leaf packs on my DCab which gave me an 1.5" lift. I have been very pleased with them.

Then when Toyota replaced my frame, I added Wheeler's 3 leaf progressive add-a-leaf packs to gain another 1.5 inches and upgraded the springs on my Kings from 600lb to 700lb. This was to offset the weight of my bumper and winch and have right at 3 inches of lift(it will settle some).

It literally takes 5 minutes; most likely will take longer pulling the right sized socket and wrench out than it does doing the job itself.

    OME Dakar's.

You'll get an initial 3" lift or so, but they'll settle at around 2,000 miles give or take a few.

I installed my ICONs body at the top like the first picture - otherwise the ICON lettering and label would've been upside down.

No company in their right mind will release a product with their name difficult to read in the installed position unless the location makes reading impossible.

also, lift = "over factory height"

not from where you are now

if you bought regular leafs you would be about 1-2" higher just from new leafs

Dakar is 2.5" over "stock height" so you'll see ~4" above what you have sitting now. keep that in mind depending on which variant of the 51xx series you bought for the rears

Icon 2.0 shocks are advertised as 0-1" lift but I'm using them on my Dakars with AAL. I'd say they're good for 3". Just a heads up to those looking - I found out through experience when most of the internet was wrong.
