Come on man, I never said kids were stupid. I just don't see the added life values that video games can add to one's life. It's just the generational gap between us that's causing this misunderstanding.

"kids nowadays, don't know half as much as us, when we were kids"

that's really really close to calling kids stupid.

and it's not the generational gap, go to youtube and look up "GrandpaGaming". He's from a generation before you, and he plays video games. It's not a generational issue, it's a mindset issue.

If kids my don't know as much as their mom and I did when we were their age, that doesn't make them stupid. Not even close to calling them stupid, they just didn't get the exposure that we did. You're being just as obtuse as you're saying that I am being with my comments.

    stu·pid
    /ˈst(y)o͞opəd/
    adjective
adjective: stupid; comparative adjective: stupider; superlative adjective: stupidest
    1. 1.
having or showing a great lack of intelligence or common sense.
you did in fact, say they knew less. which means they had a lack of intelligence and/or common sense in your opinion. which, by definition, does equate to "stupid"

yes, because kicking someone's ass is always the best and only solution.

you don't have a mindset issue because some guy on YouTube said so, you have a mindset issue because you have a damn mindset issue. that's just a fact no matter who says it.

So you saying that I'm calling my kids stupid because they don't know as much as me and their mom did at that age? Are you? That's totally different from your dictionary post.

Stupid means showing great lack of intelligence or common sense, per the dictionary.

If you say a kid does not know something (meaning lack of intelligence on the matter) then they are in fact stupid to that subject.

I am stupid to painting with water colors. I am stupid to working on Fiat's. I am stupid to performing open heart surgery.

the "big deal" is not being willing to waiver or understand a different mindset than yours.

That works both ways man...you can't seem to waiver or understand my point of view either, so we're both in the same boat.

I'm not the one that said your point of view is useless, that it's a waste of time, or that it's wrong.

Again, as I said to you in PM, there are 3 views on this subject.

    1. Video games are the best thing and you should devote yourself to them.
    2. Video games are fine and can be balanced into a healthy lifestyle and provide benefits.
    3. Video games are a useless waste of time and should be avoided.

I am 2. You are 3 (that tolerates 2 as you said in PM).

so which one is a more understanding mindset?
