So how much money do you all think I'll have to bring to the table (if any) to trade a 4x4 2019 TRD OR DCSB for a 4x2 2020 TRD OR DCSB? Both AT. 2500 miles on the 2019 currently. Talking with one dealership now to check if ordering is available yet.

Anywhere from an even swap to $1,000 would be my guess.:notsure:

I doubt very much they’ll do an even swap, but who knows. I’m usually wrong about everything...

Not much due to the 4x4 equity plus tax discount for trade in.

Why would you ever do so though?

You can get aftermarket headlights that look just as good, android headunits light years ahead of any headunit and power seats without a memory function are worthless.

Only reason I said that was going from 4X4 to 4X2.

You could probably do a private trade and come out better than you would through the dealer if that’s what you want.

yea, probably seems crazy to most on here. I don't wheel or have any intention of doing it. I got a good deal on the 4x4, basically paid a 4x2 price for it. White was my second choice on color, really wanted the cement, but they didn't have any in stock at my local dealer. Would be nice to get a cement with the upgrades that are coming on the 2020s. It would be worth it to me if they can make it happen for $2k or less.

With depreciation of the 2019, the price increase of the 2020, along with taxes and fees probably 5 grand.

Check out Carvana as an option. They generally pay top trade in for vehicles... way better than most dealers, and the process is pretty easy.

Yea, thats always going to be the best for the seller, but it is usually a lot more hassle. Where would you suggest listing it for sale?

Sorry but that I can’t help you with. I have a pretty good network of friends here that I rely on locally. Don’t know if you could do the same...

I've never sold a car privately, but common approaches seem to be: Facebook marketplace, Autotrader, Ebay, and/or find out if there are areas in your town where you can park your truck with a for sale sign in the window (where I live, Home Depot lets people do this for free at the edge of their parking lot). Your truck should sell pretty quickly I would think.
