So everything fit w/ each other (tracks/tent) - good.
Have any impression driving with the 'high weight' yet?
Did you choose to put the ladder on the left, or is that just where it ended up? I know some folks are STRONGLY opinionated about which side to put the ladder on - not that it really matters. Just curious.

Actually the weight isnt that bad. Barely notice it. I asked and saw @NorthEastTacoma ’s set up last week. Seemed to work well on the drivers side. So I went with it. I did notice campers have the door on the passenger side but idk. This should work, if not; I’ll spin it around.

I set mine up passenger side with the same thinking as a camper: If I have to park parallel to a roadway, I'm not potentially stepping out of my tent/camper into traffic.

That’s fair. Like I said, if i find it a problem I will change it up and try the passenger side. We’ll see :notsure:

Totally doesn't matter. Different sites, different bests.
Let us know when you design a Lazy Susan for it so we can pull 1 bolt & spin it around to face left or rear or right.
Some folks have a rug the put down & keep shoes in the truck on the right side of cab & want ladder there, some have in tent stuff packed on the left of cab (double cabs) & want ladder there. Absolutely no bests, I'm just curious on peoples reasons. Mine is on left because that's how it ended up first time & now it's my normal - dumb luck. No bests.

Now about that RTT Lazy Susan....

It's my tendency to focus on the details. Sometimes I get so mired down in them that I miss the big picture, but other times I manage to pull off some epic stuff.

Sometimes (most times) the details make the biggest difference.
