Thanks! You got that right. It took the kit 2 months to arrive. Not to mention they forgot to send on of the blocks. Luckily the shop had one in their warehouse.

I guess I'm going to tackle trimming the mounts this weekend. I've already trimmed the plastic with a dremel.

Whats the best tool to use?

those springs were messed up on mine too when I pulled them out of the stock knuckles... I got new seals from the dealer for my new knuckles... 63 bucks for the two of them!

Man, 33's look so tiny on the 6" lifts.

    x2!!!

In case you all didn't notice... We're MID-size truck owners, not fullsize...

And in case you do want to put 35s on, do yourself a favor and get the proper amount of lift... 8"

I'm sure I'll take a lot of heat for this next comment considering how many guys have 3" with 33s on here, but consider this: If you have to cut, chop, trim, grind down, or shave anything (besides your pubes) in order to fit a certain size of tire under your wheel well without rubbing, you don't have enough lift for them!

    Bring on the hate :D

i have 35's and i will tell you that they still look better than your 33's and they dont rub with a body mount chop which i did and welded a cap on the hole

Maybe you should re-read my post... I didn't say anything about LOOKS. while I DO think 33s look better, it's 100% personal opinion, and I don't dis-like the look of 35s...

however, as Krooks mentioned and I elaborated on, 33's are more functional. you just proved my point for me by stating that you had to chop a body mount.

While I'm sure that didn't weaken your frame or make your truck any less able, the fact remains that my 33s with a 6" lift and zero trimming fit better than your 35s under the same size lift. You cannot argue that point. By sheer numbers, your tires are clearly 2" larger and WILL rub and have less clearance and articulation at a point before my 33s do.

All that being said, my OPINION is that my 33s look better, and yours look like a fat guy in a little coat.
