My son (high school freshman) is on the bubble between playing JV & Varsity this year.
If JV, he will be: wide receiver, corner/outside linebacker, long-snapper, & kick off/receiving lines. So, he won’t leave the field much (playing “old school” iron-man football for AAA Clinton High).

If Varsity .... I have no idea.

I’m not sure which I’d prefer him
    playing for ...
I was not an athlete, but am a fan. Now, I’m his fan (& his friends).

I played four years of varsity ball and would get smashed my freshman year. :rofl:Hell I would
get smashed my senior year too.:rofl:Football teaches young men so many good things they
can use in life. Hopefully the coaches play to win and use each player in the best way possible. :benchpress:

My son & I met my father at Taste of Thai in Spartanburg. It’s the one right behind the Taco Bell, next to Hobby Lobby & across from Academy (near Westgate).

After we ate, we had a long conversation with the owner, who moved here 6 years ago & took over the place. She can make it “Thai” as you want, inc. the correct Chinese broccoli in the pad see ew (most placed use western broccoli). It also has the authentic Thai-style coconut ice cream, which is only the 2nd place my father (eats Thai A LOT) has found- the other was the place he went to from 1983 to a few years ago (owner retired).
They make it the “right way” (from coconut, not cream-based with coconut flavoring. It’s almost more of a coconut iccee than typical ice cream.

    It’s so good ....

I recommend it even more, esp. knowing the owner will “make it authentic” if you ask. The “regular” is the more common Thai fare in US places.
