I was shocked to find that most of the people I met in New York, upstate Buffalo area, etc were not die hard bleeding heart liberals. Most were normal every day folks like you and me. I was shocked. We fished the smallmouths at Lake Eerie and had a BLAST! The guide or boat owner made sure that we understood very clearly that what we see on news about New York is only New York City and area and most folks outside of the city are normal folk. Upstate was beautiful too man.

Looks like I'll be saving about $2500 a year by switching from Progressive to Safeco

I thought Safeco was a grocery store lol. I don't think we have that provider here

I need to switch to USAA, they quoted me almost $40 less per month for auto insurance than I have with Esurance currently. Since my wife has USAA I can qualify for it now (otherwise you have to be military or have military in your immediate family).

I guess it's owned by liberty mutual, which is funny because liberty quoted me more than my current rate :bananadead:

How have you liked USAA so far?

I haven't switched yet, been too lazy....which is stupid cause I could have saved $1k this past year if I had...but my wife loves them and swears by USAA, very easy to work with and low rates

I think they are even more lenient now with taking on new members, used to be you had to be in the military to qualify, then you had to have immediate family in the service to qualify, but my wife's grandfather was and she qualified and now I can too because we're married. So if you have any family in the service you should look into it, USAA usually has the best insurance rates at least for auto.

Really? My grandpa and my cousin were both military.

When I looked into it in the past my dad was eligible and was going to get USAA then I would have been eligible but my dad never gets his shit together soooo

That's the only thing I'm not sure about...it might be that your grandfather and cousin have to be members for you to be one, I dunno...could be worth checking into though. Especially if they are members

No one in my wife's immediate family was a service member and she still qualified so you could too if your grandfather or cousin is one

I'm pretty sure they both are, I might have to call USAA and see what they say because their site doesn't seem to imply i'm eligible

hmm...so maybe she only qualified because her parents were on it because their parents were military. This is getting complicated lol

So yeah maybe your dad would have to become a member first and then you can

Just came to me for methanol injection. Can you use rc nitro fuel? Its main ingredients are methanol, nitromethane and oil. Has some anti-corrosion and degumming as well

It's also like 2 stroke oil though, not sure the engine would be happy about burning the oil in it
