My CaliRaised 0 degree frame sliders finally came in today. I’m going to write up a review later tonight or tomorrow about the whole experience including the good and the bad but right now I need a shower and a couple cold ones.

I just got my new license plates i think it gives it a better look. i need to change the frames to make it look even better. i really want to change my wheels and tires lol.

Thanks! It just needed to be out from under the roof of the truck. I tried using a 1/4 wave FM antenna, it was terrible, but a 2m antenna is just shy of the optimum length for FM and gives much better reception than anything else put in our trucks for FM, including antenna amps. It also works well for AM too.

I installed this license plate holder. I hated the plastic OEM "after thought" plate holder.

Just installed a Prinsu rack with a slim LED bar.

 

The mount is a

$32 Tram 1249 Stainless Steel NMO Mirror Mount Single Groove with 17 ft. Cable and PL-259

Tram 1249, the antenna is not a tram but the 1180 should work well too but a dedicated 2m antenna would work better as it has a longer aerial. NMO is a standard mount type, so others will work too.

 

It’s all fun and games till you knock someone’s eyes out with your bright lights!

Well I enjoy warm weather. I'll take August instead of January. Granted when it's 102 at noon time, you won't catch me mowing the lawn or other such foolish endeavors. Still, cold vs hot... give me hot. I've never had to shovel hot.

No different than those that favor cold weather, yet sit by the fireplace.

 

Plus: even though it was 105 here, its dry heat! Definitely more tolerable than the weather the poor smucks have in the south.
