After an entire morning trying to solve this puzzle, I’ve mostly won. Need a couple washers that were missing and a bolt that disintegrated but otherwise it’s all done. There’s so much more space now.

 

Hm I should have cleaned my floor mat before I screwed everything down. Dammit.

After 56,000 miles I figured it was about time for some new meat. Another set of Falken AT3w. These tires are excellent all around and fuel economy doesn’t suffer which is a nice perk

 

Oil change last night didn’t go so well as one of the bolts for the access panel decided to strip out. Hence I had to take off the full plate. Also my skid has taken far more abuse than I would have guessed

 

Hot damn. That is quite the difference

 

Yeah it was way more than expected. Plus I got a deal... again

 

Fresh Tires, Oil, Windshield wipers Yesterday. Now I just need to get around to changing the Trans and Diff fluids again.

I still have my HAM Radio (Icom 2730) and ARB compressor I need to install one of these days.

 

You and I drive about the same! I put 88500 miles on mine over the last two years through 35 states including a fair bit of proper off-roading. Now I am impatiently awaiting Goose Gear’s upcoming seat delete for access cabs... are you going to be at the September WI pipeline thing?

 

Yeah my truck definitely doesn’t just sit in the garage, it gets used. Very happy with my seat delete so far.

Stumbled into an rigid sr-30 in amber... so i guess that’s going on the truck now too

Amber Rigid SR30 installed behind the grill on SDHQ mounts. When I was testing it out yesterday I discovered it works way better if I turn off my fog lights. Otherwise it gets washed out pretty bad

I ran amber covers for a while but this is way better light output. Plus I now have the option of either white or amber without getting out of the truck.

 

Added a 80 mil layer of sound dampening and a 150 mil layer of foam to the back wall seat delete panels and it’s nearly back to what it was before I removed the seats. I’ll do the floor panel at some point from the storage bins to the rear but didn’t feel like pulling that out today

I haven’t really had any crappy weather to really test the Amber SR40, but it decided to snow today. After just a few miles, I’m a huge fan.

 

Figured I’d try out the fluid film thing today before it starts snowing again

 

Off topic but i use Rhino Ramps too, so convenient sometimes surprises me how many people don't use them and lift their truck with a jack instead.

 

I just picked up a second set today (I had one set from back when I had my car). I think I’ll be using this setup a lot more often. Makes things so much easier
